Match & Mingle is a curated social sports night for singles who would rather meet someone naturally than spend another evening swiping through a screen.
Pickleball gives everyone something to do, someone new to play with and an easy reason to start a conversation.
Come by yourself. Most people do. We'll organise the rotations, equipment and flow of the evening so you can concentrate on playing, talking and meeting people.

Do I need to know how to play pickleball?
No. Complete beginners are welcome. We'll explain the basics and keep the games accessible so everyone can participate.
I'm coming alone. Is that unusual?
Not at all. Most people come individually. The event is specifically structured to make it easy to meet and interact with other participants.
What age group is the event for?
Match & Mingle is curated around singles in the 20s–30s and 30s–40s age groups.
Do I need to bring a paddle?
No. Paddles and balls are provided, although you're welcome to bring your own paddle.
What should I wear?
Wear sportswear or comfortable clothing suitable for light activity, non-marking sports shoes and bring a water bottle.
How does the event avoid being awkward?
Rather than leaving everyone to mingle from scratch, we organise a series of pickleball and conversation rotations. That gives you a natural reason to meet and interact with different people.
Is this speed dating?
No. Match & Mingle is a social sports event for singles rather than a traditional matchmaking or speed-dating service.
How is the group curated?
We ask for some basic information during registration and limit places so we can organise participants within the event's intended age groups and maintain a comfortable mix.
Will my contact details automatically be shared?
No. Post-event contact sharing is opt-in. Only participants who choose to participate should have their contact details included.
