General

These Terms & Conditions govern the use of services provided by Play! Ball Pte. Ltd. ("Play! Ball", "we", "us" or "our").

Our services include, but are not limited to, court rental, coaching, classes, clinics, open play sessions, social programmes, competitions, private events and corporate activities at our Serangoon venue.

By booking or participating in any activity organised by us, you confirm that you have read, understood and agreed to these Terms & Conditions.

Bookings & Payment

All bookings are subject to availability and are only confirmed upon successful payment or written confirmation from Play! Ball.

• Prices displayed at the time of booking apply to that booking.
• Payment may be required in full in advance.
• Bookings are not secured by verbal enquiry alone.
• Promotional prices, credits, vouchers and discounts may be subject to additional conditions.
• Where a third-party booking or payment platform is used, additional terms imposed by that platform may also apply.

Court Bookings

Court bookings apply only to the date, time and court confirmed in the booking.

• Customers should vacate the court promptly at the end of their booked session.
• Additional playing time is subject to availability and must be separately booked and paid for.
• Customers may not transfer, resell or commercially sub-let court bookings without our prior approval.
• Coaching conducted by external coaches may be subject to separate venue rules and prior approval.
• Players are responsible for ensuring that their booking is suitable for the number of participants attending.

Classes & Coaching

Coaching programmes may be conducted privately or in groups. Class sizes, programme duration and inclusions are as stated on the relevant booking or programme page.

• Participants should register for a programme appropriate to their playing level.
• Play! Ball may recommend that a participant move to a different level where appropriate.
• Coaches may be substituted where necessary without affecting the validity of the booking.
• Specific coaches cannot be guaranteed unless expressly agreed in writing.
• Programme content may be adapted based on participant numbers, ability and progress.

Open Play, Events & Programmes

For organised sessions, Play! Ball may determine court assignments, rotations, partners, opponents, formats and playing groups.

While we aim to provide participants with appropriate playing opportunities, we cannot guarantee a particular number of games, playing partners or opponents unless expressly stated for the event.

Participants must comply with event rules and instructions issued by hosts, coaches and venue staff.

Cancellations, Changes & Refunds

Cancellation and refund conditions may vary depending on the type of booking. Any specific cancellation policy shown on the relevant booking page will take precedence.

Unless otherwise expressly stated:

• confirmed event and programme registrations are non-refundable;
• participants may request to transfer their place to another eligible participant, subject to our approval;
• missed sessions are not automatically refundable, creditable or replaceable;
• changing a booking is subject to availability and any applicable booking policy; and
• refunds, where approved, may exclude transaction or administrative charges which cannot be recovered by us.

Packages, Credits & Validity

Packages, lesson credits and promotional credits must be used within the validity period stated at purchase.

Unless a different validity period is expressly stated, private coaching packages are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase.

• Unused sessions expire at the end of the validity period.
• Expired sessions are not automatically refundable.
• Packages are for personal use unless otherwise stated.
• Packages and credits may not be exchanged for cash.

Late Arrival & No-Show

Sessions will generally end at the scheduled time even where a participant arrives late.

Failure to attend a confirmed booking without the required notice may result in forfeiture of the booking, session, credit or payment.

Venue Rules

Customers and guests must observe all venue rules and reasonable instructions issued by Play! Ball staff.

• Appropriate sporting attire and footwear should be worn.
• Food and drinks must be kept within permitted areas.
• Smoking and vaping are not permitted within the venue.
• Customers must not damage courts, nets, equipment, furnishings or other venue property.
• Customers are responsible for personal belongings brought to the venue.

Player Conduct

Play! Ball is intended to provide a safe, welcoming and respectful sporting environment.

We may refuse participation or require a person to leave the venue where behaviour is abusive, threatening, dangerous, discriminatory, disruptive or otherwise inappropriate.

Serious or repeated misconduct may result in suspension from future programmes or bookings.

Health, Safety & Participation

Sporting activity involves inherent physical risks. Participants are responsible for assessing whether they are physically able to participate safely.

Participants should stop playing and seek appropriate assistance if they experience pain, dizziness, breathing difficulty or other concerning symptoms.

Participants must disclose any information which may reasonably affect their ability to participate safely where relevant to a coached or supervised activity.

Children & Minors

A parent or legal guardian making a booking for a child confirms that they have authority to consent to the child's participation.

Parents and guardians remain responsible for children outside the period during which they are under the direct supervision of a Play! Ball coach or programme host.

Equipment

Where equipment is provided, loaned or rented by Play! Ball, participants must use it appropriately and return it in reasonable condition.

Customers may be required to pay for equipment that is deliberately damaged, lost or not returned.

Private Groups & Corporate Events

Private and corporate bookings may be subject to a separate quotation, invoice or event confirmation containing additional terms.

• Final participant numbers may be required before the event.
• Additional participants may incur additional charges.
• Programme formats may be adjusted to suit group size, experience and court availability.
• Advance payment may be required to secure courts, coaches and event staff.

Venue Closure & Disruption

Although our Serangoon courts are indoors, circumstances outside our reasonable control may occasionally prevent or disrupt play.

These may include building issues, power interruption, safety concerns, emergencies, government restrictions, venue closure or other events beyond our reasonable control.

Where Play! Ball cancels a session because the venue cannot reasonably be used, we may provide a replacement session, booking credit or refund as appropriate.

Liability

Participants take part in sporting activities at their own risk, subject always to rights which cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

To the extent permitted by Singapore law, Play! Ball is not responsible for loss or damage arising from:

• the ordinary risks associated with sporting participation;
• loss or theft of unattended personal belongings;
• acts or omissions of other participants or independent third parties; or
• circumstances outside Play! Ball's reasonable control.

Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes or limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so.

Photography & Media

Photography or video may occasionally be taken during events or programmes for operational, promotional or social-media purposes.

Where reasonably practicable, participants who do not wish to appear in promotional material should inform the event host or staff member before the session begins.

Personal Data

Personal information collected in connection with bookings, programmes or enquiries may be used to administer services, communicate with customers, process payments, manage participation and comply with applicable legal obligations.

Personal data will be handled in accordance with applicable Singapore data-protection laws and our Privacy Policy.

Changes to Services & Terms

Play! Ball may update programmes, schedules, prices, instructors, formats, operating arrangements or these Terms & Conditions from time to time.

Material changes affecting an existing confirmed booking will be communicated where reasonably practicable.

Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of Singapore.

Any dispute arising from these Terms & Conditions or the provision of our services shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Singapore.
